What is the MNRE subsidy and am I eligible?
The PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana offers up to 40% subsidy for systems up to 3 kW and 20% for 3–10 kW. Most residential customers are eligible. Heera handles the entire application and follow-up at no extra cost.
Will I get power backup during power cuts?
A standard on-grid system is built for savings, not backup. During a power cut, the system shuts down for safety.
How much will I actually save?
Typical savings range between 80–95% on electricity bills.

How much does a solar system cost?

How do I know what solar system size I need?

What happens during rain or cloudy weather?
The system continues to generate power at a reduced level. When solar production drops, your home automatically uses grid electricity. There is no interruption or manual switching required.
What maintenance is required?
Very little. We recommend an annual maintenance contract (AMC) that includes panel cleaning, inverter checks, and performance monitoring. Well-maintained panels can last 25–30 years with minimal degradation.
